THE ART OF SEEING

I’ve always been fascinated by the patterns that shape our everyday lives - the rhythm of shadows on a wall, the repetition of windows on a building, the geometry of woven textiles, the colours of a market after rain, or the tiny details most people walk past without noticing.
Sometimes I photograph them.
Sometimes I simply pause and smile.
Over time, I realised I’m not collecting images as much as I’m collecting relationships between colour and emotion, material and memory, people and place. Those little moments of observation have quietly become the foundation of how I think, design and lead.
Whether I’m developing a collection, building a brand or guiding a creative team, I’m less interested in isolated outcomes than in understanding the invisible relationships that create them.
For me, creativity begins long before making. It begins with paying attention.
APPROACH

Every meaningful outcome begins with learning to see. My approach combines observation, systems thinking and creative direction to help founders and brands build products, businesses and experiences with clarity, purpose and long-term relevance.
My work sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity and cultural inquiry. Rather than viewing branding, product development, design and business growth as separate disciplines, I approach them as interconnected parts of a larger ecosystem.
Every project follows its own path, but it almost always begins the same way - with observation.
These six principles guide the way I move from understanding a challenge to creating meaningful impact.
OBSERVE
UNDERSTAND
DESIGN
BUILD
COLLABORATE
GROW
Everything begins with paying attention.
I start by understanding people, culture, materials, behaviours and context before moving towards solutions.
Finding the pattern beneath the problem.
I connect insights, identify relationships and uncover opportunities that aren’t immediately visible.
Ideas become tangible.
Insights are translated into products, brands, collections and creative strategies that balance meaning with commercial relevance.
Turning direction into reality.
Working with founders, artisans and teams, ideas are developed into practical systems, products and experiences.
The strongest outcomes are created together.
Every project is a shared process built on trust, dialogue and thoughtful decision-making.
Design doesn’t end at launch.
Reflection, iteration and long-term thinking allow brands and businesses to evolve with intention.
While every collaboration is different, the intention remains the same: to create thoughtful solutions that are creatively meaningful, commercially relevant and contribute to a more regenerative future.
MY JOURNEY
Having built my own fashion label and collaborated with artisans, founders and emerging brands, I bring both entrepreneurial and creative perspectives to my practice. My work spans brand strategy, product development, creative direction and crafted innovation, helping ideas evolve into products, stories and systems designed for long-term relevance.
Graduating in Textile Design brought together everything that had fascinated me since childhood -colour, materials, craft and the ability to create beauty with intention. A place where I developed a deep appreciation for material intelligence, craft traditions and design thinking.
Working alongside artisans reminded me of the women I had grown up admiring who were not only remarkably skilled, deeply resourceful but often overlooked for the value they created. That experience transformed my understanding of design and continues to shape my work today.
Since then, my practice has evolved beyond textiles into building brands, products and creative ecosystems that connect culture, commerce and human behaviour.
As the founder of a womenswear brand Little Things Studio, I’ve explored how sustainability, storytelling and craftsmanship can coexist in contemporary fashion. I continue to explore how joyful design, thoughtful craftsmanship and responsible business can exist together. The brand was recognised as a Lakme GenNext 2019 winner, Grazia Label Alert, also featured in various publications across the globe and has been loved by customers across multiple countries. These experiences continue to shape my understanding of creating work that resonates across cultures while remaining deeply rooted in purpose.
While design is at the centre of what I do, people have always been at the centre of how I work. I enjoy bringing together diverse perspectives, facilitating collaboration across disciplines and helping teams navigate uncertainty with clarity and compassion.

COLOUR, PATTERN & CRAFT
Colour has always been one of my first languages as a designer. I’m endlessly fascinated by the emotions it evokes, the stories it tells and the cultural memories it carries. Alongside colour, I’m drawn to the patterns that quietly exist around us - the geometry of architecture, the rhythm of nature, the textures of textiles and the visual poetry hidden in everyday life. These observations often become the starting point for my collections, colour directions, trend research and creative decisions.

PURPOSE
I believe design has the power to reveal value that has always existed but hasn’t always been recognised.
Growing up, I watched the women in my family create extraordinary beauty through crochet, knitting, embroidery, painting, stitching, pickle making. Their creativity wasn’t something they spoke about but it was simply woven into everyday life and transferred to me as a way of love. Looking back, I realise how they shaped me is far more than just my love for textiles. They shaped the way I see people and life.
Throughout my journey, I kept encountering that same pattern. In artisan communities, creative teams and businesses, I met remarkable individuals whose skills, knowledge and potential often went unnoticed or undervalued.
That realization continues to guide my work.
Whether I’m developing a collection, building a brand, consulting with a founder or guiding a creative team, my goal isn’t simply to create beautiful products. It’s to help create environments where creativity is recognised, craftsmanship is respected and people are empowered to contribute their fullest potential.
I am building a creative practice that celebrates curiosity, craftsmanship and compassion; one where women, artisans and creative teams are recognised not only for what they make, but for the ideas, leadership and perspectives they bring. Through every collaboration, I contribute to a future where creativity becomes a source of dignity, belonging and shared growth.

You’ll usually find me slowing down for the little things - following a trail of colours through a local market, noticing the rhythm of windows on an old building, collecting textures with my camera, or stopping mid-walk because the afternoon light has quietly transformed something ordinary into something beautiful. Those moments remind me that the best ideas rarely arrive when we’re rushing. They arrive when we’re paying attention.
